There's also bipedal kaiju Pokémon that don't register as humanoid at all. Rhydon, Charizard, Tyranitar, Feraligatr. They may have some human features but it's balanced with mostly animalistic to not look strange. Compare it to Quaquaval. The latter steers way too far into humanoid
The issue for me isn't them being bipedal, it's the uncanny human proportions.
Pokemon like Incineroar are exaggerated and cartoony enough to not be creepy looking to me; while Pokemon like Intelleon look really grotesque.
Even Pokémon like Machamp are abstract enough to not look uncanny valley

Also worked at a used game store for a while in 2023-2025. Saw a few DS systems come in with yellowed screens. Phenomenon I never saw before in the midwest
Did anyone else notice recently that a lot of DS and 3ds systems started simultaneously getting yellowed screens?
I never saw this before 2023 outside of Japanese ebay listings then suddenly: BAM! My n3ds and DSi XL got discolored lcds.
