also getting my own job field mansplained back at me by fans is pretty cool.
the degree to which randos online will heap praise on giant faceless videogame publishers for not abusing them is truly baffling. these are massive corporations, they don’t need nor deserve headpats for avoiding being as predatory as possible.
one of my biggest regrets working on a game is letting some pretty dated language slip in for things under my purview. it was probably a decade ago now, but they're definitely not terms I would consider okay today, and I still wish I could go back and fix it.

okay this is just me being unhinged but seeing others write track titles in the format of <song name> - <artist> instead of artist first causes a primeval discomfort to bubble up from within me
seeing stuff like non-disabled folks speaking on behalf of them to shut down their opinions, or non-queer folks who suddenly have Very Well Informed (aka vibes-based) ideas about LGBTQ+ rights, is so dang tiring
just once in my life i would like to see folks who aren’t part of a minority group not acting like their uninformed opinions on a minority issue are more important than the ones of those actually affected
