I think Bryan Ferry was 77 when I saw him in San Francisco in 2023. Great show. His voice isn't what it used to be but still a lot of fun. Hope I still have that kind of energy when I am that age.

While I'm at it, I'm really impressed that Billy Idol, who I love but was on my list of people most likely to die prematurely or go crazy, has aged into a sort of genteel and affable respectability. He really should have some honors, maybe an OBE or something, so we can call him Sir Idol.

I love that song and it really pains me to think about what Morrissey has become. Or maybe he always was that way. But yeah it's a great encapsulation of adolescent angst.
