Moved over to Blacksky using @tektite.cc to avoid the random moderation decisions that Bluesky has been going through as the politics of the world gets more fascist.

Same followers, name, and language, just in a new home in this open network!

Due to the AWS outage, people may have experienced issues migrating over the past ~18 hours due to AWS SES (Simple Email Service) being down.

You might want to hold off on migration for about another 24 hours until Amazon sorts their issues out.

You might have to logout/login and clear cache

Correct! This week we built a fallback mechanism to query slingshot, constellation, and the PDS directly.

For now it is limited "read only". Soon enough you'll be able to interact with Link on blacksky.community

correct! the refresh token was not refreshing as i had thought. that should be resolved now.

Moved to Blacksky yesterday via desktop of a friend. (Only own a phone) Migration took ~15 min. Quoting the guide which have all the info (& handle options for non Black users). Big thanks to @tektite.cc and @baileytownsend.dev 4 help 🙏

So last night I migrated @gregpak.net from Bluesky to Blacksky's myatproto.social server for non-Black users! A few thoughts on the process for anyone thinking about this...

- We've added small tweaks to the UI

- And improved the migration experience for very large accounts

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

tektite does support authenticating by did.
