Cisco then Google in two days. BIG MO.
yeah turns out we needed liquid glass macos to build liquid glass iOS

I do want to make sure we're being clear about this:
The Bluesky team maintains the same review, red-teaming, and QA processes that we always have. AI coding tools have been proving useful, but haven't changed the fundamental practices of good engineering. Human review and direction remain key.
BREAKING: @aoc.bsky.social just came out swinging in the House E&C hearing against dangerous & misguided "age verification" legislation (aka online ID checks) that would force everyone to upload government ID or get a face scan before accessing content or posting online.
Video incoming. This is big
I donβt think anyone is necessarily all-in on object storage, but I read his statement (and your initial comment) as, essentially, accepting the hype as true; that anyone skeptical of s3 will be blindsided, left behind, etc. because it will prove to be a 100% reliable technology in the long term.
Yeah I think they definitely are!
π΄ LIVE https://stream.place/iame.li Let's check out ROOMY! Also Streamplace v0.9.15 and... S2PA?! #coding

We will be giving a lightning talk at ATmosphere 2026! Come along to hear @makeworld.space and @udit.bsky.social talk about how provenance tools can be used by communities to restore transparency in a world of AI-generated feeds.
hey congrats!
I wish we didnβt have to choose! There are totally situations where it might be useful to make a call direct from the frontend to the PDS in Streamplace. But we also need to do so from the backend and we canβt do both with one OAuth login (without duplicating the DPoP key, which is bad)

Yeah weβve considered putting in an optional checkbox for the Bluesky permissions there β we need that stuff to make Bluesky posts on your behalf if youβre livestreaming but somebody just chatting doesnβt necessarily need it

oh wild, that's really nice
Nothing new here, just a generalization of Conway's Law where every day you bring on and onboard a new contractor really really fast
AI Coding discourse contribution: I make different mistakes now. Streamplace presently has too many types for representing a video segment in different contexts. Making types used to be a pain so I'd reuse more. Now it's near-effortless so sometimes I don't catch when Claude makes redundant types
Yeah mentioned this to @trezy.codes recently too; mostly gotta figure out the right way for a game to be identified across multiple lexicons I think?
Streamplace's are atproto records, just like this post! pds.ls/at://did:plc...
sounds lit tbh
If your job was to know when to hit the semicolon key on the keyboard, I'm sad to say that's not an employable skill anymore.
If you shape ideas into tools and art via code, it's really so much better than ever now, and I don't see that changing soon.
We need timed blocks so I can block @moderation.bsky.app for a week any time I need a week off of Bluesky
yeah itβs real lol bsky.app/profile/iame...
