i bought an almond blossom wallet that was quite expensive so i left it at that 😭 but tbh i currently have a museum card where i can go for free, so i might go back before it expires for another walkthrough and… for the gift shop… 🤧

yess!! i really liked that too. i loved seeing the iconic hashed brush strokes slowly become more common in the works as i went along. honestly a great experience.

no, the van gogh museum in amsterdam! i’ve wanted to go for literal years. i think the orsay had it on loan for a while tho, but it’s back here now.

normally i rush myself out of the way at the big paintings everyone wants to see, but i took a minute or so to really admire this one and i’m glad i gave myself that time. no one seemed annoyed and i felt really happy studying the details for a little bit.

i got weirdly emotional at this painting. it’s one of vincent’s later paintings, and i feel like you can really see his forlorn feelings in this. felt embarrassed af that i almost cried while i was looking at it. 💀

i really like monet too!! i’ve seen quite a few monet paintings too. i think something about van gogh’s creativity just speaks to me. i have always looked at the world “differently” than others, and i feel like he did too bc you see that in his work.

i live in the country its in and i have never been, its a crime. 😭 van gogh is my favourite painter. i was meant to go a few weeks ago but forgot to book a timeslot. i’m soooo excited to finally go.
