Neat!
Hey, remember that time Gimli showed up at an American Astronomical Society meeting?!
So... if other folks have been working on this problem, I'd love to hear what you've tried and what you think.
And those who have students who had to turn down a position, I'd love to hear your thoughts, too. (4/4)
... so I'm not looking at individualized solutions right now. I'd like to know what pay rates directors of such programs should be looking to reach.

This is a systemic, nation-wide equity issue. (2/x)
Alright, #STEM #AcademicSky folks... I have a questions about REUs and REU-like summer programs.
Many of us have seen a trend lately that students can get better pay in a traditional summer job than in a research traineeship. This was not the reality 20+ yrs ago when I was their age.

Went over to the hellsite where I'd deleted almost every tweet to see what data I had left there while I'm deleting Meta... and look, it's a zombie tweet! My most famous-making viral tweet lives.
Even though I definitely deleted it several years ago. h/t @mariadsouza.bsky.social THE FRIEND 😂

My 300-level Intro to Astrophysics class is going to be RAUCOUS and I am SO here for it.
I don't think a discussion of units has ever been so loud and hilarious. I ❤️ my physics students. 🔭🎢 #AstroEd #AstroEdu
Okay that's darn cool
Omg!!!
single dish software finally going Python!! *fist pump*
#AstroEdu ? #AstroEd ? Have we settled on a thing here???
I just spent three hours chatting with other astronomy educators at the Astronomy Educator Reception at #aas247 that was technically only an hour and a half and I am just so renewed and refreshed from that. #AstroEd 🔭🎢
Go get space BOOKS!!! 🔭
