I don't think I've read this many newsletters, or visited so many forums (or forums-in-disguise like Reddit), or associated so much content with *people* vs *editorial brands* as much as I have since the 2000s.
Recently opened Facebook and my feed was mostly people sharing Facebook memories from the 2010s and going "wow remember this".
Between that, the decline of hashtags, and so much more, the online culture of the 2010s has almost entirely transformed.
