Does anyone have a clergy shirt brand recommendation? I’ve lost quite a bit of weight, prefer band collars, and am wondering if there’s anything out there that doesn’t fit like a hefty bag. ⚓️

Well, what an awful year. Crohn’s really does suck. HOWEVER, this is the day that the Lord has made and we will still rejoice and be glad in it.
I omitted it during the Vigil and on Easter Day, but that’s it. An occasion isn’t a 50 day period.
And at a time in which trust in the institution of the church is already at an all time low.
Time to add another year to my journey with Crohn’s disease. Now we’re up to 16, and, to be honest, this year has been difficult. But here’s hoping the new meds work. 🙏🏻

Having said the comfortable words for the last four Sundays in a row, I can’t for the life of me think of why they were removed from Rite II.
Really hoping to be over this cold before it’s time to sing the Christmas liturgy. ‘Tis the season, indeed.
Realizing that I had forgotten a mini metal in the Necrogond Cave was so demoralizing. I feel y’all’s pain.

Spent a couple hours with my folks putting together and loading up Thanksgiving dinner kits for families in our area. A very touching and neat ministry.
Last month the preschool kids got We’re Going on a Bear Hunt stuck in my head. This week it’s Gratitude Attitude. I’m strangely ok with this.

So much yes. I threw out my back for the first time at 32 and have a mortgage. I’m just a regular adult now, thanks.
Had a good time with the bishop visiting today. As I ran around in a flurry making sure everything was good, I said good morning to quite a few folks by name. Finally starting to feel a little more settled in.
Nice. I also enjoyed the community while I was there.
For me the non-negotiable would be the backyard in general. I like reading on the porch when the weather is nice and a big for our dog to run around in.
