Aiwa! Nice. I recently sold an Aiwa HS-G08 on eBay after it stopped working. Still lit up and the motor kicked in, but the spindles didn’t turn. I wasn’t brave enough to attempt to fix it.

Opened up TikTok yesterday to find out my account had been banned.
Where can I see the reason, though? I didn’t get an email and I’ve searched through my downloaded data, but I’ve found nothing.
I mean, ah well, I’m sure I’ll cope, but I’d still like to know the reason.
How did you get on with this? I’ve just found out my TikTok account is suspended, and I’ve no idea what triggered it. Bit of a loss as to what to do to get it back.
Went to the newest Home Bargains in the UK this morning, and tried their cafe.
Two teas, two teacakes, four quid!
Bargain!
Some of the new Lego Smart Brick sets, due to be released on 1st March, are on the shelves at Sainsbury’s already!
I picked up the AT-ST.
Love Spectrum graphics!
Incidentally, do you know which Spectrum game you can die the quickest in? I made this a couple of years ago, but I think it’s still accurate.

Loads of 80s film dioramas at Bricktastic this weekend. This was my favourite.

There was a HUGE 80s Lego city at Bricktastic yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous!
Got to play with the Lego Smart Brick yesterday at Bricktastic. It’s actually quite cool! I was thinking it would be more aimed at kids, but after putting it into an X-Wing and waving it about it the air, I was all “LISTEN TO R2-D2!”
Who was the best of the Banana Splits?
Fleagle, for me.
£9 a day is great. It’s more than that at Media City where I work, for those who don’t have allocated parking.
Did you have pancakes today? I did.

The ZX81 was my first computer, back in 1981. Absolutely loved it. But my first coding was done a year or so later on the Spectrum. This one, in fact.
Who do you get the most marketing emails from? For me it’s Whittard.
One email offered “3 hot chocolates for £36 “and a few days later an email advertised “2 hot chocolates for £24.”
These aren’t “offers”, this is just how maths works when you buy multiple £12 hot chocolates.
Got a few surprise Happy Birthdays from 80s people.
13 year old me would never have imagined getting birthday messages from a Radio 1 DJ, the voice of Lion-o, and Maggie from Fuzzbox.
A man goes into a nightclub with a goldfish on one shoulder and a tiny leopard on the other.
Bolton is such an odd place.
I appreciate the ;
You know the old Spectrum game Chaos?
Did you ever set up an 8 player game in which it was just 8 CPU players fighting against themselves?
I feel that’s what Twitter has turned into. Just bots tweeting with more bots following them, arguing amongst themselves.
When it’s sunny and it rains we get rainbows. But you know those times when it’s sunny and raining and there are no rainbows? That’s because it’s fake rain.
It was when I argued that a pie ON a barm was effectively making the barm into a pie cushion that they asked me to leave. Up until then I think I was making a good point, but I think I lost credibility at that point.
I got asked to leave Garroways many years ago when I argued that THAT was a pie IN a barm, not a pie ON a barm, and that they may need to change their sign. They don’t have that sign in the window any more.
Enjoyed that!
What in the world!!?!
It's still a full month until Pancake Tuesday, but already the shops are full of flour, milk and eggs. How ridiculous!
I’m so sorry.
If you thought you were going to make it through the day without seeing the word 'pamphlet', then think again. Sorry!

I’ve always sung:
Whoop Whoop,
That’s the sound of the police.
Whoop Whoop,
Taking pictures of my knees.
Not sure why. Just thought I’d share.
