I'm Suede. Making videos about Autism & PokΓ©mon, not at the same time (yet). #actuallyautistic . You engage in good faith, I answer. If not, I block. Cishet, He/Him πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

That starship design actually goes kinda hard. Like if Star Trek was set in the League Of Legends universe πŸ˜†

Manga's better, and way more accessible at the the beginning. Seriously, the first few arcs are so simple and fun compared to the hundred issue hyperfights with 50 named characters all doing things You Should Know About that it remind me of KH1 vs KH3 πŸ˜†

Since Luffy is his first name and monkey is his family name, does that mean in the west he'd be called Chopper A. Anthony?

Now I think about it, you really could argue Tokyo Godfathers is an examination of Christian ideals through a Japanese lens. Tons of divine intervention centered around charity & family (of all kinds) at Xmas.

So fine, you got one. Of tens of thousands. BUT IT SURE AS SHINTO AIN'T RIGHT WING πŸ˜†

"Anime is right wing and christian"

How many teenagers have killed God at this point?

I am wracking my entire brain to think of any anime that follows Christian doctrine beyond a surface, "mythical aesthetic" level... Tokyo Godfathers? If you squint?

The movie with the best trans rep in decades?

This is why I hate the term "White" for anything other than broad, silly stereotypes. Tell a white Texan that he's the same as a white New Yorker and see how many teeth you have after.

Definitely check it out at this price. The animation for every individual action is really something else, and the party characters are AMAZING

Obviously still live without procrastination and take advantage of the opportunities you have, but it's so weird that society just kind of memory-holes the period of life between 50-70 even though it's 2 FREAKING DECADES πŸ˜†

My grandmother just died last year.

Hypothetically allowing that my son chooses to have kids, I will most likely live until my GRANDKID could have had two decently long careers.

Life is actually pretty long. Don't live like it's over tomorrow, there is so much time for so much more to experience.

It's wild to think about timeframes sometimes.

I got my diploma around 22. I've made videos at amateur level for about 5 years, then professionally for 10.

If we grant I start going downhill at 70, I have time to START learning a skill for an equally long career... TWICE OVER.

Never too late.

08.03.2026 22:36 πŸ‘ 16 πŸ” 3 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

70 is around where things really start going downhill for most people so it's wild to think I have a good 30 years left in me πŸ˜† if I start learning a skill now, I can master it in 10 years & still enjoy that skill for at least 20 more.

Never feel like it's too late (except for gymnastics/sports πŸ˜‹)

How old do you feel? Like seriously.

I feel 31, I think, even though I'm 38. I hear that pretty much everyone feels around 35 once they pass that age until they die, and I think I'm starting to feel that.

I'm curious if those older or younger than 35 feel as old as they are. πŸ€”

Honestly, aside from Kill Bill and Django, all his films are basically plays anyway. Even Basterds was mostly on small sets. I'm honestly shocked he hadn't pivoted to stage much earlier.

07.03.2026 01:16 πŸ‘ 20 πŸ” 3 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I always said his writing suited the stage better, so I think this could be a good move for him
