These games changed the course of my life, one way or another
Finished my second #12for12! A little late, but I'm very busy at work right now. Anyway, play Suzuki Bakuhatsu
Crocheter here; my partner *is* my yarn ball winder. He offered to do it for me one time (I don't have a machine) and it turns out he's really good at making low-tension balls. I once said I wanted to get a real winding machine and he got upset. It's its own kind of joy
I'm behind on my 12 for 12... part of that is work is ramping up, but part of that is also "I got to a long level in Suzuki Bakuhatsu and failed at the very end and I don't wanna do it over"
[one of my favorite yarn dyers announces they're doing a drop TONIGHT] [Damage numbers start appearing above my wallet]
It's fabric for a cosplay :) I wanna go to Tekko this year. It'll be my first time cosplaying in many many years; I'm excited to try it again!
There are many horrors in the world right now that I can do very little about, so I'm choosing happiness and buying craft supplies
Blank! A little nervous about doing the faceup myself--maybe I'll get another fashion doll to practice on--but to me the fun part is painting it yourself
I pulled the trigger and placed an order. In several months I will be a BJD girlie
I don't think this should be a hot take but I like when fiction ends. I like when a book doesn't have sequels. I like it when the TV show is over. I like it when a game doesn't update any more. I think more fiction should have a definitive ending.
All the Sims 4 content creators I've watched were primarily house builders. I didn't get it until I started playing again recently, where I take long breaks from playing dolls to remake the first level of Snap & Grab using no custom content. Now I understand completely
I think there comes a time in every Sims 4 player's life that, once you've played with it for long enough, the only thing you want to do in it is build houses
Rimworld base game 500MB
Rimworld expansions 150MB
Rimworld mods 3.2GB
Someone who is good at ram please budget this. my family is dying
AAA isn't uniquely evil and I bet you can find people who have great experiences at AAA studios, as well. Don't separate us and make us fight. Only collective action will save us
My take on the indie/AAA discourse, if my voice matters. I'm at an indie studio and I love my job. But I've heard first-hand insane stories of exploitation coming from indie studios. My partner was a 1099 contractor who worked full-time on minimum wage and wasn't even paid in exposure, for starters
I should probably just try custom Monster High dolls again instead of investing in a BJD, but... it's so pretty...
I am extremely, dangerously close to becoming a BJD girlie
Play 100ft Robot Golf
playing TTRPGs has just cemented in my mind how humans are natural storytellers. last night a player rolled badly at the worst possible time and it made such powerful impactful story beat. it was awesome and all 6 of us were on the edge of our seats. it was great
crushing him with a hydraulic press will fix me
[thinking about my own characters] guh... I just need to obliterate him... and then put him back together like a grandmother's heirloom vase
Hey if you try to sell me commissions in my tweets that mention them, I'm just going to block you. You're not getting a sale, you're just being annoying. Maybe don't do that?
A bug report for Snap & Grab titled "Chef in kitchen does not need distraction to steal his huge meat"
I love my job
A pretty consistent problem I have with commissions is that artists will post their examples and they'll be 100% cute girls, and I feel bad trying to make them draw boys instead. But I'm only looking at art of my boy ocs right now ๐
A profile headshot of a woman. She has long bangs, a ponytail, and very tired eyes. Her name is Jessie, and her ARC is Timepiece/Overbooked/Receptionist.

Made icons for all my #TriangleAgency players! Names and ARCs in alt text, if you're curious
I need to pair up more of my OCs. So many artists I follow open up cute couple commissions for Valentine's Day but they don't fit the dynamics of the two ships I've got :(
I wish I liked Sims 4 more than I do. I keep trying to have fun and it's not working
