Furries are by far the best clients and most dedicated patrons of the arts. I am proud to have furry as part of my origin story, they really have helped me grow my art career in ways I couldn’t have otherwise

I'm trying to remember when I first started hearing "influencer" as, like, a regular thing.
Personally, I would not under any circumstances want to hold influence over an audience of strangers. I can't fathom why anybody would. It sounds like way too much responsibility for one person to shoulder.

I stumbled across another video on furries (from an outsider's take) and they always focus on fursuits & autism, but no one ever talks about the art. My origin story is like that of all other artists- imagination & creativity were best received in the fandom, so I could fully express myself. #furry
Some people will make you feel stupid for "still" reacting to something that happened "so long ago"-- as if the damage CPTSD does only stems from what happened back then, & not the years of trying to cope & continue functioning SINCE then w/ inadequate support & care.
Yeah, it's challenging. I've already decided bsky is not my forever-home but I keep going back and forth on the details. I'd like to keep trying to deploy my own sites and stuff, meant just for my little circle and not the general public. That's a lot of responsibility on me though.

Holding two contradictory ideas at once is hard, y'all.
1. Bluesky's leadership does not value the trust and safety of their users. It's in my best interest to exit this platform ASAP.
2. Bluesky is where lots of people I want to stay connected to are hanging out and willing to interact with me.
Love this band. Their album Beach Day from a couple years ago is one of my desert island discs.
