i subbed dark brown sugar for this caramel syrup i made and accidentally discovered the difference between butterscotch and caramel

when i want something thats normally expensive/im not sure if im going to like it i just buy it broken and resolve myself to Enrichment Time (watching hours of videos of repairs). and sometimes you get lucky and its not actually broken but the person who had it was just stupid
