Fell down a serious rabbit hole and figured I'd write up what I found related to how @anthropic.com's Claude deals with things like Content restrictions in practice as opposed to how they SAY they deal with it... and it's... wildly interesting, imo.

Just had a very fun chat with @shwood.com about a potential future project... so... that's a thing that happened haha. 2026 could be getting INTERESTING.
Finally updating to new business cards after many years of using some very silly ones I made... almost 10 years ago haha. It was time. Not 100% sure on the design yet, but we'll see. They'll probably still be silly. I'm BARELY a real adult...
I may have to become less of a hermit if I'm going to need references for real-world jobs. Hmm... Or I just keep building stuff until something clicks. That's definitely practical and not at all delusional. Right? Right.
ok... the first claude code plugin taught me a lot... including formalizing my workflow for actually checking the docs it generates for absolutely broken nonsense... so, I'm putting this out there too. It's a work in progress, but so far it's been VERY useful. github.com/BeargleIndus...
Fiddling with making some claude code plugins to streamline some things I find myself doing often enough that it felt worth it... and figured it could be a good excuse to let some of it out into the wild, starting with a very simple one github.com/BeargleIndus...

Oh god not again
I mean, valid, but... sometimes we might. π
Playing with Pixel Agents, and feeling like I'm managing a team of cute like pixel folks while using claude code is... weirdly fun. Probably not helping my productivity today though haha
Finally got my new (to me) car setup... and while I will miss my model Y's minimalism, I won't miss the political headache it's been the last few years haha. on the plus side the bolt euv I got is easier to park... but geez there's so many damn buttons and switches. not used to that anymore!
My very silly business name will possibly be showing up on invoices at a couple of very serious companies soon, and that makes me giggle. I'm not very good at being an adult. OH WELL.
Does the world need another digital solo ttrpg system? Probably not. Did I start making one accidentally while working on something else and having it get out of hand? Maybe. We'll see how that goes I guess...
I've become a person who posts on LinkedIn now, apparently. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?
I have a zoom call scheduled tomorrow. I feel like such an adult. Not sure how I feel about that, tbh. I've been spending the last decade trying NOT to be an adult.
This is cool and 100% needed, but it brings up questions for me after some of what I saw while building SkeinScribe. Hopefully my emails to anthropic haven't fallen into the void, but either way, I'll talk more about that at some point.
The future is coming faster and faster, for better or worse. π¬
ooooooooooh I like this. This is going to be VERY handy.
Back on LinkedIn for a day... and already getting some INTERESTING messages and blasts from the past. What a weird week. Is this how real adults feel? Not sure about it, honestly. hahaha
json that then gets turned into nice formatting for users, yeah. the "certain things" are stuff like character dialogue samples, potential forshadowing and non-user-facing "secrets" characters might have, and other things that tend to get blended out or hallucinated over long-form stories otherwise.
Yup between that and letting the ai save plans for the future that get fed back into the next system prompt has kept things pretty stable mostly once I got it sorted... it's... a whole thing haha. Complicated but worth it.

Claude, mostly sonnet, but haiku for certain things, with opus as an option for anyone who wants the boost in quality, though the new version of sonnet that just dropped has been doing REALLY well with fiction in my testing this week.
It's more like an interactive fiction generator. I've made a sci-fi comedy, a western, thrillers... It's pretty versatile so far. The trickiest part at this point is having it not start hallucinating and forgetting things in LONG stories, but I've made decent headway there. It's been an adventure.
Fell down a rabbit hole and created an interactive ai fiction thing... oops?
Still not sure if it'll turn into anything other than a way to get better at prompt engineering and claude code related development, but it's been interesting so far!
god what a stupid time to be alive
Cartoon-style image showing a child in a blue outfit with red and white stripes, crouched on the ground with their face buried in their hands. Two white geese with orange beaks and feet stand on either side of the child. The goose on the left has text over it reading βWHICH ONES.β The child has text reading βIβM BEING SILENCED FOR MY OPINIONS.β The goose on the right has text reading βWHICH ONES MOTHERFUCKER.β The scene is set on a sidewalk next to a patch of grass.

I'm probably gonna use the "it's my birthday so it doesn't count" defense to justify it to myself... stings though. hahaha
It's so messy... and hilarious... and dystopian... and entertaining... and depressing. Very conflicted... haha
