This was my first Follett book, quite enjoyed it.
Correct me if I’m wrong, I’ve avoided any Captain Mar-Vell stuff after his first death, but hasn’t died like three times by now?
For my money, the original Gwen clone was the only time this was done successfully. But I’m old and cranky.

Tim Powers, who works in traditional publishing, as I do, discusses some downsides/challenges he perceives in self-publishing. It also seems to me that self-published writers are often more vulnerable to fraud, to the multitude of scammers who target writers... Don't need to subscribe to read this.
Not much of one for food photos, but there were lots of breakfast soups, smoked sausages, black chicken, there were chicken feet, and some corn liquor that was closer to corn oil than to anything you’d get in Tennessee or Kentucky. I was a big fan of the fresh jerky and chestnut cakes.
