Youve heard of cardboard fursuits... But how about paper folders shaped around a rubber ball like paper-mache fursuits?

Not an ounce of sewing, and several ounces of hot glue lmao.

Unfortunately no photos of me wearing her have survived. She was made in 2019!

Uggghhhh me too!!! Its so frustrating. Especially when the texture of something is off and I just KNOW i wouldn't have that problem if i could feel it in person...

That is a very good way of seeing it! I feel the same way, its more sustainable than making plastic things that will never break down anyways...

I know real fur on fursuits are a no-no, for obvious reasons.

But how do we feel about real feathers?

As a reminder there are no fake feathers, the shape is too hard to replicate with plastic, so commercially sold feathers are dyed/bleached chicken feathers.

I just went 3 month without access to my sewing supplies and i genuinely felt restless and unable to occupy myself. Video games, drawing, YouTube, none of it helped. It felt so bizarre. Never thought of crafts as so essential to my ability to function.

I have one pair of scissors that can cut fur without pain. I can never find these scissors. I HAVE TIED THEM TO MY DESK WITH YARN AND THEY STILL DISAPPEAR.

Its wild working with children and these "evil" animals. You can be having a wonderful conversation with this child, then a parent comes over and you can SEE the child shift to "oh, im supposed to be afraid of this." When the parent reacts negatively.
