Back from @defcon.bsky.social! SFSU awarded me an honorary doctorate there last year, now I just need a high school diploma to complete the set
Oh and I had to have PRK for some reason, my understanding is that LASIK brings great vision and less discomfort much much sooner
A lot of photophobia at the moment *says while painfully squinting* but looking forward to it in a few weeks from now...had it done almost 20 years ago too and similar process, the initial light sensitivity was the worst for me but worth it!
Got laser eye surgery (PRK) and supposed to wear these not so fun clear plastic protective glasses so coated them with an atomically thin translucent layer of gold in the home vacuum chamber. Now I just need a name for my etsy store.
