The laptop I bought came with a free steam copy of the new resident evil game which is pretty cool. Never played any RE games before though but I guess since I have it, it would be interesting to try out. Curious, do I need to play any of the previous games to understand this one?

Was planning yarg arg arg-ing 3ds max and maya onto my new laptop, but it seems so complicated and if I'm going back to college soon it might make things even more complicated getting student versions, so I think I'm just gonna try to learn to use blender since I hear it's pretty good these days

Thanks for the tip, but I'm not gonna get rid of it unless I know for a fact that I have a replacement ready. Even though it's in a bad shape, I can still at least use it for some important stuff.
I know y'all might be getting tired of me complaining about my laptop, but with the ram shortage I seriously need to get this new laptop ASAP. If I can't get one, my art productivity is gonna be severely reduced because I genuinely can't do too much with the laptop I have.

My current laptop is getting worse and worse, so I set up a goal on my Ko-fi for a new one before this one decides to die on me. I can make more art and stuff much easier with a new laptop, and will help a lot if I go to college soon. I appreciate any help on this!
