Very sad to hear that James Litchfield, my best friend from my Hertford days, has passed away. He was sooo nice and funny.
I just ordered a βham and cheese doughnutβ (meaning βbagelβ) in a cafe and am now LITERALLY dying of embarrassment.
I live near a canal and am proud to say Iβve never knowingly attempted to usher a goose .

What is my crime? Being a spy? A succulent Chinese spy?
Thatβs why I still use a carpet sweeper.

Eddie wishes to point out that he has the same blue dinosaur as their Labradors.
As a feature maker, Iβm violently opposed to (mostly) staged and scripted βrealityβ TV. But I must admit to a guilty addiction to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Itβs such fun watching rich people arguing and having crazy meltdowns.
Courtyard garden with willow green raised borders and eucalyptus trees, plus an olive tree.
Today, I relocated two eucalyptus trees, a bay tree and three huge clumps of grass and I can finally see the olive tree which was somewhat swamped. I also optimistically removed the frost covers from the fig trees. Not bad for an elderly person with dodgy parts.
We have met a lot of Welsh people.

Neil Sedaka was great, wasnβt he? So many brilliant songs and such a warm presence. My mind went immediately to this one, because itβs also one of Karen Carpenterβs finest vocals. Thereβs no thrill like Karen sliding into her lower register, and this Sedaka song has a lot.

every device i own just pinged with the news that andrew has been arrested. I think probably the oven did.
Iβm tempted to take up documentary making again, so I can produce one called Prisoner Cell Block HRH. (Innocent until proven guilty of course). #Andrew
This Princeton University Art Museum photo shows a blackware ceramic figurine of two stylised dogs which look as if they are dancing. They are standing upright on their hind legs, facing each other, their front legs raised, with paws resting against each other. The dog on the left has its face turned towards the viewer, with snout slightly raised and seeming to smile. The dog on the right, rests its raised snout against the cheek of its partner. The figures are rounded and smooth with short legs, pointed snouts, pointed ears, and short curved tails. Their bodies are decorated with incised lines, which according to the museum, represent folds of skin, indicating that these canines are Mexican hairless dogs. Counting down the days when we can let the birds out again. This is the rush hour from 17th October last year

We are at an airport restaurant. A robot just drove up to us with our food, said, "Hi! Here I am!" and then drove away with our food.
This duet cover of Radiohead's "Creep", between a son and his Shastriya Sangeet classically trained mother, is the mash-up I didn't know how much I needed in my life. Totally spontaneous sobbing may have taken place.
