Finally back to progressing on #MaxEffort #HackenschmidtSquats, here for 75, 85, and the 92.5 PR, which seemed easy enough, but I still couldn't quite manage 95 after that. Then it was 70x2x9 backdowns, which matches my best set from December, but twice in this case.

#MaxEffort #ringHSPU here. Still can't do this depth from the bottom up, but I did manage to add another 5lb (BW+10) going from top down. I also decided to start making sure to bring each backdown rep to a dead-stop, which did knock down the reps quite a bit but should help the dead single along.

Going forward, I'm going to attempt this depth again from a dead bottom-up and I think should manage when more fresh. I'll likely alternate that work with adding weight in the top-down work. And when that work gets heavy enough, I'll progressively raise the rings for bodyweight work.

#MaxEffort #ringHSPU here, this time performing them top-down for a change of pace (like a pin press rather than dead): warmups from +1" and 0", then the PR of -2"x4. I did attempt that depth bottom-up but still couldn't quite manage, at least after that 4 rep set. I did manage a BW+5x1 PR, though.

Had to use the hands for a little boost on the first rep of the first set of Nordics, but I figured starting from the top wouldn't require that and, sure enough, was proved right on the second set.
For the reverse Nordics, I'm just glad to be able to do them now without debilitating foot cramps.

After max effort Hackenschmidt squats on this 'lower' day I decided to try #NordicCurls without hand support, and so I raised the bench angle up to 9.4ยฐ from my usual 4.2ยฐ.
I followed up with decline #reverseNordics for BWx2x12. Really loving the depth on the decline with less foot/ankle stress.
