Going off topic here, but would you say youβre writing more of a treatise or analysis of a game, rather than a critical review in the traditional sense? π€

A lot of us drew the line 2 years ago, but it took AEG until now to take the next step and remove Dancey from the company. At the same time, Iβm painfully aware that a lot of people in the hobby donβt know anything about what happened. Most board gamers donβt follow the news unfortunately. π

Absolutely. If I make a mistake in a review and someone points it out, I'll hold up my hands and correct it. That's the advantage of online reviews. They can be updated easily and quickly. It's not so easy in print, whether reviews or games. That's where you have to be a lot more careful. ππ

I think a bad rulebook should be mentioned in the review. Contacting the publisher will make them aware and hopefully get clarification, and the response can also go in the review. However, a review is based on what's provided. If the rulebook is bad, then I'll say so in my review. ππ

Ah, solipsism. Itβs always appreciated when a board game demonstrates that we exist in shocking isolation, our comprehension of the universe siloed from every other human being, loved ones anβ¦
The Vibe is a party game about the strange way we interpret and categorize images. You know, like Dixit or Mysterium. Only this time, the images are public-domain paintings from centuries past. My review: spacebiff.com/2026/03/04/t...

Have you got the _spf.google.com entry in the SPF record? Can you share your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records maybe? π€

Did they admit that they got the rule wrong? Or was it a badly translated rulebook that caused the confusion? I've seen it quite a few badly translated rulebooks, which required me to go back to the source text (German in my case) to get clarification. π€

If that doesnβt work, then you need Gmail to use DMARK, which I think requires you to switch to Google Workspace.

That seems to imply that Yahoo would accept your Gmail emails if itβs configured in SPF. So try adding Gmail to your SPF record. Something like this:
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:amazonses.com ~all

Stonemaier Games' diversification of its flagship bestseller Wingspan into a trilogy of standalone titles powered the company to record revenues of more than $25m last year - eclipsing its previous annual high from the post-Covid board game boom in 2021:

I'm a strong believer in the Chinese room thought experiment, so I don't think AI will ever "feel" or "think" or become "conscious" - all terms that are quite vague anyway. ππ
