Over the last two years, we've had great audiences turn out to see "In the Whale." Today was truly amazing. Nearly 400 people came to see the film at the beautiful, historic, newly renovated Zeiterion in New Bedford. Thanks to all who came!

Let’s add some historical perspective, the catch has grown massively since the 1990s and has to top out, looks like we might be there. Distribution has gotten more efficient and widespread but supply is ultimately limited.

End of a Pyr-A

Floating pyramid (PYR 2014) by local sculptor Don Eyles was irreparably damaged when it broke off its mooring in December (pic 2).

As I understand, it will be towed from Fort Point Pier to Little Mystic Boat Ramp in Charlestown, hauled out, and demolished. @universalhub.com

The past few days at the Sedona International Film Festival were extraordinary -- so much beauty, so many great films, such lovely staff. Thanks so much for featuring "The Petal Pusher" and for the excellent programming. It was hard to leave.

Enormous freshwater reservoir discovered off the East Coast may be 20,000 years old and big enough to supply NYC for 800 years An expedition off the coast of Massachusetts has confirmed the existence of a freshwater reservoir beneath the seafloor. Now, scientists are starting to understand when and how it formed.

A new discovered "giant reservoir of secret fresh water" off the East Coast that could potentially supply a city the size of New York City for 800 years may have formed during the last ice age, when the region was covered in glaciers, researchers say.
