it’s never getting more updates, it’s deprecated (and could be removed at any point) on macOS, some newer opengl drivers are simply built on top of Vulkan and are pretty dumb (and perform poorly because of it)
just bring back opengl. it got the job done. frankly bring back the fixed function pipeline as well while you’re at it.

due to my horrible doomscrolling addiction, i have made a script to slowly fade in a horse over my entire browser over the course of a minute that you cannot remove unless you refresh the page making it so i cant use twitter for more than 2 minutes

If you want to try Linux for whatever reason I have to recommend EndeavourOS + KDE Plasma. You can select it on the install screen. It’s not scary to use and feels familiar and intuitive.
