Maybe he should try to play a decent game of tic-tac-toe, because he's clearly not good at chess.

5/ And on the Strait of Hormuz, they had NO PLAN. I can't go into more detail about how Iran gums up the Strait, but suffice it say, right now, they don't know how to get it safely back open.

Which is unforgiveable, because this part of the disaster was 100% foreseeable.

This must be what it was like to go from machine code to fortran in the late 1950s. Early 2000s felt like a similar vibe with scripting langs, the web, and tooling changes. Kinda incredible.

Toni is a wonderfully thoughtful and insightful exec, who has shown that you can build a real business around open software. Finding someone who can execute and who understands the vision of an open protocol at the same time is rareβ€”Toni gets it. I'm excited to see what Toni and Jay build together.

I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be joining Bluesky as interim CEO. I deeply believe in what this team has built and the open social web they're fighting for. More here: toni.org/2026/03/09/c...

It's been 65 days since Donald Trump invaded a sovereign state, abducted its leader, and declared the US will "run" the state indefinitely

It's been 9 days since Trump launched a war (his word) against Iran without congressional approval

No House member has filed articles of impeachment for either

It's kinda unreal going from "I could make a prototype of this in 2 weeks which isn't worth it " to "I made a prototype in two hours, here it is, and let's see what the real data and interaction looks like ".

The Most Chilling Detail in the U.S. Attack on an Iranian Naval Ship The Iranian warship was taking part in an international exercise with many other countriesβ€”including the United States.

This is a chilling crime. A shame on our country. The Iranian ship was unarmed. The US knew this. The sailors were murdered by our navy, and the survivors were left to die at sea.

I've been mulling language Dems could adopt to basically say Trump will have to personally pay for the illegal things he did w/o authorization, and once he's broke, his trillionaire friends will have to do it.

Eg, Trump will be fined for rebuilding the White House after the damage he did.

the 'restrictions' are worth stating explicitly. Anthropic doesn't want its AI to be used to make decisions about whether to kill someone without some human oversight. Hegseth says he won't accept that restriction.
