Feeling kinda stuck on my side project at the moment. The MVS approach seems like a good idea, might give it a try. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing, really appreciate the support! I am building Libroo with Nuxt for both frontend and backend, using Nuxt UI for the components and Drizzle for the database.
This is coming together nicely. UI looks great!
I think it looks good the way it currently is! Has a nice clean feel to it.
Iβve been building a small app to track the books I own, love, and lend: itβs called Libroo.
Just launched the landing page: libroo.app
Appβs not live yet but you can join the waitlist to stay in the loop!

Tweaked the Libroo landing page to include rich OG images β here's a sneak peek of how it'll look when you share it π
Just another step toward launching it π
(Site still private, but getting close.)

Todayβs win: Working on the landing page for Libroo and added a new waitlist modal β¨
Cloudflare Turnstile is keeping bots out while keeping signups smooth.
Not live yet, but itβs coming!

Didnβt get much done on Libroo today. But thatβs part of indie building too: learning to rest, reset, and return.
Tomorrowβs another day π

Ohh true, that would've saved me from adding the whole right-click thing in the first place. I'll give that version a try!
Oh right, mobile would be a problem as well. Might switch back to the regular dropdown then. I was going for something very minimal, but that's maybe over-optimizing π Appreciate the suggestions!
Ah yeah, great point. I didn't really think that far ahead π I mainly added the right click menu so users could select system mode as well not just toggle dark/light. But you're right, it's not very intuitive. Thanks for pointing it out! Got any suggestions on how to surface it better?
Built a small UX detail I love:
π Left-click = toggle dark/light mode
π Right-click = open theme menu
Adds a subtle but powerful touch to the Libroo landing page π

Landing page for Libroo, an open-source app designed to help users track their books, organize collections, and manage loans. The page highlights features like library tracking and easy lending.
Just wrapped up a first version of the Libroo landing page - a personal library app to track books, collections, and who you've lent them to.
Siteβs not public yet, but hereβs a preview π
β¨ Just started building Libroo: a personal library tracker to organize books, collections & borrowed copies.
Built with Nuxt, Drizzle, Postgres + Open Library API. Still early, but itβs open source!
