In Japan, we celebrate a festival called "Hinamatsuri" in March, wishing for the healthy growth and happiness of girls.
People decorate with dolls of an emperor and empress to celebrate.
At the moment, my café is displaying over 250 unique sets of these dolls.

While I was taking care of our daughter on my own, I really felt how much she has grown, and how amazing my wife is.

The Kyoto Marathon was held the other day. There’s a turnaround point near my shop, and this year they had placed a warp pipe there. Apparently, this year marks the 40th anniversary of Super Mario.

Back then, game soundtracks often included arranged versions of the music, but I never really liked them.
To me, any sound that didn’t come directly from the game itself felt like something completely different.

The Famicom(NES) was released the year I entered elementary school.
I fell in love not only with games, but with their music too.
I played the tunes on recorder and keyboard, but what I wanted was the real sound.
The sound of the game itself.

When I look at Cave Story, I really feel that I’m now walking the same path he walked about 20 years ago.

That’s right, we’ve been raising our child just the two of us.
My parents live a bit far away, and because they’re older, they don’t really have the energy to help take care of a baby.
