Iβm sitting in a random WC in Osaka.
I press the magical bidet button.
One second later: WHAT THE HELL DID I BUY?!

@tenderlove.dev I got a bidet in part because of your evangelism. Well, I just tried a real Japanese one and I think what I originally bought was a firehose π€£
There are some people that might look at my prompts the same way I look that someone that searches for Google on Google.
And I think I try hard, but then I see some prompts that are just of my (current) league.
My coding-fu degrades when not using my Ergodox.
Thank you for the explanation
What is broadcasted ?regular WiFi? Or some other protocol that requires special equipment?
Sorry for the dumb question, but what is the high level explanation/architecture for this? Genuinely curious
I think the best interface for LLMs might be a (digital) blackboard. Yes, one as big as the ones we had in school.
As part of migrating to a new Mac, I decided to centralize and organize my dot files and after testing a couple of existing solutions I settled on chez-moi, which is something I should have done a long time ago.
It also integrates with 1Password, which is great.

While migrating to another Mac, I decided to use 1Password to store my ssh keys.
It works great! Except that Capistrano seems to ignore IdentityAgent.
But that is fixed by setting SSH_AGENT_SOCK manually.
Is it trying to autocorrect because you have a curly quote?
At least for Zig, ChatGPT does live in the past. Maybe there are not enough upto date code examples on the web?
Trying to use that LLM to learn Zig has been an exercise in doubting everything π€£

The Advent of Code community is in a little chaos because the leaderboard has a number of participants that used LLMs to solve the problems.
Leaderboards (and other similar ways to measure performance/success) are going to be tainted from now on.
Integration of LLMs into emacs is going great, IMHO.
The latest release of gptel looks exciting.
Check the announcement on Reddit for some demos www.reddit.com/r/emacs/comm...
Emacs Lisp might well be my Everest.
I feel like I have to reorganize my mind around it. And no, the functional part is not the problem at all.
No, the first βbigβ one. It was in Austin, 2014 IIRC.
Add me please. Not doing elixir at the moment but have my shirt from the first elixir conf π
Can someone rewrite emacs in zig and do so in a short time? That will be my new benchmark for LLMs.
This seems to be a good starting template: github.com/SpexGuy/Zig-...
Thinking of doing Advent of Code in @ziglang.bsky.social to learn it.
Doing in Elixir felt a little bit like cheating since most of the problems mapped very good to recursion/pattern matching.
No sΓ© quiΓ©n fue el creador de ese grupo, creo me agregΓ³ Hiphoox, a quien tampoco encontrΓ©.
Elixir. And lately Zig.

I think it kills readability and makes you think in cases you otherwise wouldnβt. Treat it like metaprogramming: use it only when absolutely necessary.
Any chance of a YouTube session where you talk about zig? (Maybe related to Ruby)
I heard the following:
βWhat would a person like you be doing before the Internet existed?β
For someone whose life was basically shaped by the (early stage) internet, it made me wonder.
