One of my crazy world building ideas is a pack of reverse werewolves.
Every full moon they get together to wear clothes, file paperwork, and respond to emails. They run a fully functioning business.

Ok I need to talk to *somebody* about this, I am re-playing life is strange again and my god itβs heartbreaking.

ooh let me try. a vague sense of anxiety that your best achievements are behind you and youβre just not as capable anymore
And iβve noticed that as well, itβs like you canβt have beige or yellow in your art anymore jfc
itβs scary cuz it matched everything i normally look for:
consistent hatch marks
painterly brush strokes
no digital noise effect
no yellowed paper
i can barely see the artifacts like the ladder

Villefort arrived on March 3rd. Bonapart had already landed on the 1st.
To think that the Napoleonβs attempt to restore his crown could have been crushed on the beach, before it began.
Villefort, could have sent news of the plot by telegram, if not for his selfish ambitions.

Alexandre Dumas - a master of subtle character.
Villefort, who valued nothing above his own ambition, not his father nor country, rode across France, to personally deliver news of a Bonapartist plot to the king. He wanted the glory!

β¨ AI overview Lady with an Ermine (c. 1489-1491) is an oil portrait by Leonardo da Vinci, depicting Cecilia Gallerani, mistress of his patron, Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan. The painting is famous for its psychological depth, innovative three-quarter view, and symbolic use of the animal to represent purity or the Duke himself. (actual painting show is a cartoon replica, with bunny ears)

An inspo reference sheet will also make an artist much happier than AI images.
Character poses, facial expressions, costume design, scenery, architecture, ect
Whatβs awesome about this approach is you can participate in the early exploration of your commission idea. π§΅

Exactly. AI images are βlifelessβ
Using it as a starting point for art is akin to trying to reanimate the monster, ala Frankenstein.
In creating life, or creating art there is something just magical. And it cannot happen from stitched together components of other people.

Some black and white illustrations for a Sliders inspired roleplaying game, based on the first image. Pops worship a strange monolith, a crumbling building is overgrown, a woman with cybernetic brain implants stares menacing.
Maybe this is surprising to you, but scrabbley doodles from a client are a joy to work with.
Especially from a 4 year old. Some thoughtfully picked words, also a joy.
I feel like weβre scratching at the issue here. What do you think the artist would do, exactly, to transform an AI image into βtrue artβ?
Is it adding some painterly brushstrokes? Fixing the bad anatomy?
Where do you draw the line when something becomes art? Why is the AI image not art already?
