We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
Corporations aren’t people, money isn’t free speech, and we need to End Citizens United.

From doing grand jury duty, it was abundantly evident how laws like these overwhelmingly affected the poorest people. Simple tickets like having a tail light out can easily snowball into license suspension, and even prison, because you can no longer legally drive to work.
To clarify, I think we can build and have good transit, just not with the MTA at the helm.
I think the issue is that expecting the MTA to competently do anything (let alone the Herculean task of expanding the subway in a meaningful way) has proven time and time again to be a massive waste of money.

How about a social media site based on manifesto sharing? It would host your manifesto, including making it public after a certain date. You could have a top 8 (enemies), find people with similar interests, etc. It’s time for a new era of social media not owned by billionaires.
