Hiya! Just seeing your posts, apologies for the delay.
I do JavaScript (and TypeScript!) in addition to HTML and CSS. I've done web development since about 2017! Would be happy to take a look. Debugging is one of my favorite things to do. π€ Feel free to DM if you'd like!

Hey! If you are interested in accessibility (or #a11y, if you're into numeronymic hashtags) you should consider throwing @ashleemboyer.com some money. This looks like a great project, and she's always a thoughtful read.

Mutual support will be a core pillar of #TheAccessibilityPond. π
I really think weβre going to see less institutional support in 2025 for accessibility initiatives at work.
While I have plenty of wisdom to share, I want to create a space where everyone can share & ask questions.
Yo #a11y folks, let's make this happen! We need more mutual support for people early on in their learning journeys, and from my experiences speaking to @ashleemboyer.com this will absolutely be the perfect environment to foster that!
Warm and welcoming is the goal! Accessibility is a journey and you donβt have to take it alone. π
#TheAccessibilityPond
Based on what I know of Ashlee, the water will be warm and the fish will be welcoming.
#a11y interested folks, let's do this!
Launching The Accessibility Pond as soon as possible!! Really excited about the prospect of this. β¨

Regressions LOVE deeply nested layers of HTML markup. It makes it easy for them to sneak in and stay hidden for a while. Semantic Fish Creative Group
Accessibility regressions hate this one weird trick! π±
Strive to keep your HTML markup as flat and simple as possible. It's easier to manage in the long run and has less places for bugs to sneak in and hide.

@ashleemboyer.com did an excellent job on this, and I highly recommend that anyone building stuff for the web checks it out! The WAVE extension is also excellent and I'm going to recommend we use it at work in addition to our other tools
