I see a lot of posts saying "CALL YOUR REPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I'm like yes it's important reps worry about losing their jobs, but they're less likely to care about losing their jobs if the alternative is keeping their job and not getting paid very much.

Calling/Emailing your reps is cool and all guys but I really, really recommend you donate to groups such as EFF or FSC. Studies show that politics are heavily influenced by money. It's important the issues we support are funded too, as well as social pressure. Even just $10 from many is a lot.
