it's weird because the capitalization rules are firmly stuck in 2002 "CD Graphic Design" logic but they're too stubborn to acknowledge that Database Standards do not apply to all digital albums and i can bend the spoon with my mind and be weird

every time i've tried to make sense of it i walk out with a headache. "your tracks can only be stylised how you want if we think your stylization is nessecary and cool enough, also the way the artist puts up their own music digitally is not enough proof for us not to dip our fingers in and 'fix it'"

anyways if an artist puts an album up digitally entirely in lowercase i think that is more grounds for intentional stylization than a tracklist all being lowercase on the back of a CD
