(also being able to see the purple fans on the front is nice)
although i do feel like underneath the desk is a lil dark right now...
also you might notice the desktop has moved a little bit, i moved it over a bit for some more legroom. also it can breathe now! not that thermals were ever an issue, but i think they should be even better now.
and with uhhh...slightly less coil whine? it still crackles every once in a while but it seems a lot better than before. idk i'm happy to have a computer again.

oh in _other_ news of things slowly failing around my studio, my subwoofer has continued to do the thing where the power led stays on when i turn it off, but now it makes fun hissing and screeching noises when i turn it off too!!!
btw monitor is an LG MP59G if you're curious.
its been doing this thing where depending on what screen i have up the whole screen will get a bit of a green tint to it sometimes, and now its doing some strange striping and a bit of (temporary?) burn-in whenever i open signal lol.
A photo of the corner of a monitor, showing some strange horizontal stripes (the image can still be seen through them, but itβs definitely noticeable).
Another corner of that monitor, showing more stripes, as well as a ghost image of the signal icon and a bit of the signal menu bar.
okay i think my monitor might just be dying

okay i caved in im upgrading
i'll do a proper write-up on it at some point, but basically it just makes it really easy to patch fixtures by using a system where you create different fixture type COMPs, and then you can just make a table of fixtures and it kinda just takes the rest from there. idk if i'm explaining it well [β¦]
been working on a system to make patching lights and stuff in #touchdesigner a lot easier!
