I have an old awk script that is the core of my home automation. It's just accumulated mess over a decade, now 3300+ lines of code.
For the 1st time ever, an AI was able to successfully refactor and optimize the code (Claude). And it works correctly on the first try.
It's over.
More commonly they are fought for financial goals, hidden behind politics. Wars are about profit. If people really understood that, internalized that, they would stop participating. They create a poor class, so they can get people to risk dying for survival and class advancement.
If that every happened there would be no wars. Where's the profit in that?
