Yes. I read Megumi Hayashibara's book where she gets nostalgic about this. But I think it's gotten back to group recording sessions there. As a voice actor, I would love to do this.

I wasn't expecting the newest episode of Shiboyugi to be themed around an old Japanese children's story by Kenji Miyazawa called The Nighthawk Star. I had the pleasure of narrating a book of his short stories a couple years ago so I was excited that I could recognize what they were doing here.

I get it. But it's good to experience music you love in different settings whether at a concert or in headphones as it can sometimes offer new perspective or deepen that love for it. Can't say I've ever done a listening party though.

I still have to sit down and give it a proper listen. I don't want to just throw it on while I'm at the gym or doing chores.
