In November last year JP Morgan announced substantial expansion plans in the UK, hours after they were spared increased taxes in Rachel Reeves’s autumn budget. They remain the largest financier of fossil fuels in the world.

Six young people, all aged 30 or under, have been held in abhorrent conditions despite not being convicted of any crime.
They have reportedly been kept in solitary confinement and subjected to “psychological torture”.
And when ordinary people stand up against it they’re met with police brutality.
Protesters have been outside HMP Bronzefield since this morning, demanding an ambulance for Qesser Zuhrah, a 20-year-old in critical condition after day 46 of hunger strike.
Police have:
‼️lied about an ambulance being called
‼️arrested a Black NHS doctor
‼️assaulted numerous people

Young people are risking their lives for Palestine.
Qesser Zuhrah is on day 46 of hunger strike, is very sick and literally dying.
HMP Bronzefield is currently denying her an ambulance.

They were met with storms, flooding, damaged infrastructure & flood planes struggling to cope.
“Our route will pass 20 sewage works and, with sewage discharge a known pollution issue in rivers, we are also testing the water quality… [for the] Great UK Water Blitz,” said Emmeline.

“It was an exhilarating walk and one which we wouldn’t have done in these conditions if we hadn’t made a commitment to do so. We felt it was important to do these walks for the World Water Wedding campaign, no matter the weather, if we want to truly share the river’s experiences,” said Emmeline.

Emmeline and Mark have been walking the length of the river Wharfe.
Their walk was part of World Water Wedding bringing communities together to celebrate & protect threatened water sources.
