But the plans to weaken the 2035 zero-emission target risk slowing Europe’s #EV momentum.

U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard proposal would mean more vegetable oil imports, high costs, and minimal greenhouse gas reductions - International Council on Clean Transportation EPA’s 2026/2027 Renewable Fuel Standard proposal would increase biomass-based diesel mandates, driving up consumer costs and delivering little to no climate or energy security benefits.
