Peer Bode just told me that his show (currently at VSW) includes pieces he recorded when he was 22, right at the start of his journey. He told me he wanted to be a recording artist, but didn't know how, so he just started recording. He's glad he followed his intuition.

It's what it always has been, really. But I have also desired the safe sterility of corporate identity. It allows me to separate my Self from my work. But I don't think I can work that way anymore.

I don't want to create a business. I want to organize a temple of knowledge where seekers can wander and learn.

This inner (secret) temple is what all esoteric orders seek to build. I want The Forest Temple to be the public (exoteric) porch of my own inner temple.

Nothing about the archive will change, except aestheticly. Digital collection will still be freely available, and the guerrila library will still be available to members.

I don't want to name the archive after a bad guy (Nate Rochester), and I felt the vibe is too corporate and clean.

In reference to the forest temple in Lilydale, NY, the oldest surviving spiritualist camp, the city of light, and the home of Modern Spiritualism, one of Rochester's own religions.

I want to change the name/identity of the @esotericarchiveroc.bsky.social to more align with who I am and the world I want to create.

I plan to move the entire archive to a subdomain of forestwizard.net.

I've had a hard time settling on a new name. What do you think of: "The Forest Temple?"
