Sad news to begin the week. Dr. Gerry Marks, the founder of SAGES, has passed away. Dr. Marks was the driving force behind the rebels who came together in the early 1980s to fight for surgeonsβ right to perform endoscopy. A surgeon, artist, teacher, mentor, & friend. May his memory be a blessing.
