"If history shows us anything, it's that life is unpredictable, and the hope lies in being active, in having imagination and using your creativity. It's our superpower as humans to imagine a better future and make it real."
Arco is SO punk. Go watch it.
What is punk?
Punk today is imagining that the future will be good.
What is even more punk?
A kid movie imagining that the future will be good.
I’m not worried about AI.
I’m already a machine at work.

HEY friends, a new post for you!!
Microsoft finally dropped the 'moonshot' metaphor it's used for its climate goals since 2020.
What the hell happened? And how it is still managing to skew its climate story using accounting tricks?
Have a read!! -->>

I had an absolute blast designing the titles and festival identity for @beyondtellerrand.com! I digged deep into my love and early inspirations of web 1.0 / 00's design aesthetics. I channeled David Carson, DesignisKinky, k10k, Designers Republic and more to make a fun, visuallyOTT set of designs!
Fascinating to see so many self-proclaimed "AI experts" when the tools and technology have been publicly available for less than 3 years.
Meanwhile, after more than 17 years of web design, I still have imposter syndrome.
When someone warns you of a potential danger and they're right, as Tristan Harris was years ago about social media, and the same person starts warning you of another potential danger, like AI, it's wise to listen.

You're welcome. Degoogling people is my passion! 😅
There is a lot of traction around the EU made platforms these days. You might find some useful information if you look around.
Good example is european-alternatives.eu

A map of Europe with a vision for an european railway network named Starline with 5 main lines.
What if, instead of investing billions in AI, we built a European train network? Here is Starline, a vision by the think tank 21st Europe
Isn't that what we all need, rather than robots writing copy for LinkedIn?
Isn't this an truly exciting vision of our future?
Durable technology is such an important issue.
I still have my iPhone SE, which I bought in 2016.
I want to keep it forever.
I have no need for new features.
What I have is enough.
Time to give Ruben Amorim back to Sporting.
In a world of generic templates and AI-generated designs, visual design is a superpower.
With new tools, anyone can create. But when everyone uses the same tools, it’s vision and craft that make the difference.
The demand for work that feels distinct, thoughtful, and human has never been higher.
Lucky you indeed!
Can't wait to see it.
Great to see https://wetheknot.com that I've designed and built showcased on siteinspire 🤩

SolarAid's website cover is a clever design.
But the image size could be reduced by 96% to speed up loading and reduce carbon footprint.
This is one of the most common oversight I notice when assessing website impact.
A screenshot of an eco and accessibility widget on a website. In front of it was added a meme of the face palm of Patrick Stewart in Star Trek to express how that solution is ridiculous.
Adding eco-mode and accessibility widgets on top of a website is like using a paper straw on a plane. Useless.
I was really sad to see that extra layer on a great French publication website, because it also makes their design look bad. Such a shame for a publication about graphic design..
