Last week we made Plausible even easier to use:
✅ Change optional measurements and other settings without touching your snippet
✅ Automatically track form completions with zero setup
✅ Use our Tag Manager template to track custom events and dimensions based on GTM-triggers
I've looked at the Plausible dashboard daily for 6 years now and never noticed this tiny misalignment. Our new designer spotted it on day one and fixed it. Going live today with a few other small design tweaks. Fresh eyes!
I did have one call last week. And another lined up this week but this one is a podcast interview. For comparison: in my old job, one day could have as many meetings as I now do in a month.

• June 2025: Trial begins
• July 2025: They ask for a quote
No chasing. Just patience and trust in the product.

Wild day at Plausible yesterday. We welcomed our biggest and second-biggest subscribers. The bigger one does a billion pageviews a month 🤯

I expected that interest in GA alternatives would slow down after the UA to GA4 transition but that hasn't been the case. We hit a record number of trial signups in April (2,237 trials) and Monday was our best day yet (109 trials). One of these trials recorded 200M+ pageviews in the first two days!

I suggested an idea to the Gnome Linux team to add a reminder feature that encourages people to take breaks from the screen to help reduce eye strain. Really glad to see that it's about to be included in the next release!
My favorite part of product development is taking early versions of new features and simplifying them by removing all unnecessary elements while preserving their core functionality.
A great way to stay authentic and motivated long-term: Only sell or promote what you would personally buy or use.

I feel the same way about word-of-mouth and SaaS marketing: the founder’s job is to secure the first 1,000 subscribers. If the product delivers, it will take care of the rest
