i feel like most old thing vs new thing comparisons are survivorship biased

the thing with daylight saving is i never know when it happens i learn they change the time weeks after when i notice one of the clocks in my home is off or when someone tells me. time is not supposed to go backwards.

idea: darkness savings time. instead of jumping clocks forward during summer we jump them backwards instead

so mad again, why is there no normal way to transfer files between an iphone and a pc. i guess the fastest way i could find is zip + npx http-server

swipe typing is nice i guess but made for normal people, it would be so much better if it was working around morphemes not words. i assume the words are the easiest to work with but that's not how human languages work!
