If you don't read French, the takeaway here is that a judge used AI in writing their decision which is a problem on many, many levels one of which being that they cited non-existent case law.
Jesus Christ Seigneur.

Objecting to being asked to kill people is truly one of the most conscientious things you can do.
Baltimore skies are seriously underrated.
“the cost of gas doubling is a small price to pay” is an incredibly funny thing to say as the head of a political movement that in many ways is still built on a nationwide psychosis triggered by having to go about four weeks without a haircut six years ago.
I usually wait until the lights are all red and the walk signal starts, unless there are no cars at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
GO BACK TO EUROPE WHERE THEY HATE YOU EVEN MORE THAN WE DO THEN
we need more places where he can exist in public without being expected to buy anything, not fewer
There are roads where it isn’t really safe as a lone cyclist to get ahead of cars, and you can recognize a lot of them because they’re in Baltimore. 😕
But I’m usually on a road bike and I’m *much* faster at getting through an intersection than cars, so…
To be clear: I don’t usually roll to the front unless a) somebody I’m riding with does it and I need to keep the group together, b) the intersection is designed for that behavior, or c) a driver just cut me off in a way that could have killed me and it makes me smile. 😊
Mainstream America: We are obsessed with Heated Rivalry and Drag Race. We love them and can't get enough.
American Democrat politicians: LGBT people are not culturally normal. We will not speak of them.
The number of drivers that have cut me off on my bike to get to a red traffic light in the last year is ridiculous — but also hilarious because I usually roll past them to the front of the intersection anyway. Thanks for nearly killing me just to get stuck following me anyway, jerk!
This is absolutely hilarious and deserves a Veep-style TV adaptation.
Is it time to start shaming big accounts that never provide alt text?
During the liberation of Dachau and Buchenwald in 1945, many of the camp guards tried to escape by disguising themselves as prisoners or civilians. Newly liberated prisoners recognized several guards immediately, and you can imagine how that ended for them.
In second grade my dad got his first job as a preacher. One week we talked about the binding of Isaac in Sunday School, and afterwards I was sitting in one of the front pews looking up at my dad thinking, “this guy loves god more than any of these people. He’d do it. I’m his first-born.”
someone at the pentagon frantically typing “Claude, open the strait of Hormuz for me, quickest possible strategy, make no mistakes.”
love how we killed the old, frail anti-nuke ayatollah just to have him replaced with his young, healthy son who wants nukes and who just had his father, mother, wife, and child murdered on the same day by his mortal enemy. surely this will bring peace to the region
If you enjoy hating Americans, it’s a pretty great opportunity.
DNC Dem: You would vote for a hebephile over a pedophile right?
Leftist: Oh my god!
Why are those the options!?
Are there no other potential candidates?
DNC Dem: No there are but...
You WOULD, right?
Leftist: Ew get away from me
DNC Dem: Well it'll be your fault when theres a pedophile president
And she was never seen again
A black 1984 Peugeot PGN 10 with red/orange/yellow decals. A white saddle, white wheels and short flat bars with wooden grips stands leaning against a fence near a lake. The bike has one brake lever hooked up to a caliper on the front fork.
Yeah, the hills around here are no joke - let’s just say I don’t have track-specific gearing on mine. 😅
And in my house (as of the last 7 days) 😊
"Urbanism is ableist!" "Reducing car dependency is ableist!" "Not everyone can ride a bike!" etc. have become very effective thought-terminating clichés, resulting in people ignoring, dismissing or even badging ableist disabled people simply for advocating for accessibility for non-drivers.

(I’m not saying that cops were ever good. I’m saying that they’ve only gotten worse in my lifetime.)
This is going to sound crazy, but 40 years ago cops talked about protecting people to the point of taking a bullet. Now they talk about making sure that they get home safe at all costs — those costs include your life.
I’ve been telling my autistic son to avoid police since he was 14.
You should only ever call the police if you’re okay with them killing somebody at the scene, including you.
Astronaut gun meme: Wait, it's all proxies and heuristics? Close enough
Oh sure, just not as creepy IRL as it was portrayed on the show.
