@crankyflier.com
I write Cranky Flier, an airline industry site + run Cranky Concierge travel assistance + co-author Cranky Network Weekly airline network analysis + co-host the Cranky Network Awards. Yep, I'm busy... and obviously, I'm an airline dork/#avgeek.

Lufthansa B747-8 in 100th anniversary livery
As always, the Queen of the Skies outshines them all. This livery looks great on any airplane, but I can't wait to see this one in person, Lufthansa.

Oh man you're right, Redondo on K, Norwalk on C, and Long Beach is C to A

Slight correction, the K/Crenshaw line goes north from LAX. It's the C/Green line that comes to LAX from the east and connects to Norwalk and then on to Long Beach. Even though Redondo is on the other side of the C line, I believe it requires changing trains.

Just did. And no way is one person the cause. Singapore yesterday was like a third of total traffic
Anyone this excited for the new subway extension from @metrolosangeles.bsky.social? Just something to keep in mind when the new Airside D opens, Tampa... shop.metro.net/collections/...
Like much of the internet, we've seen a crushing rise in traffic at crankyflier.com from China (Lanzhou) and Singapore. I've blocked all traffic from those countries for now. If you're an actual reader in those countries, let me know and I will put your IP on a whitelist.
Well that's probably better than Spit 😂
Probably throw an accent on the E just to make it sound fancier
Maybe just change to Spit? Easy enough rebrand, just paint over a couple letters

Yeah that was a month ago
Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me. People certainly don't get there as early for a domestic flight. A lot of people probably also don't realize that if they don't need to check a bag, they can walk right from TBIT instead... not that it's faster

Hadn't planned on it. I don't really have a take except that the federal government looks like a clown show lacking coordination
I was thinking the same!

I don't even know where to begin. But yes, the answer is probably either mercantilism or Scott Kirby
