As far as building up accounts & selling them, how is this any different from building up the value of something and selling it? If people don’t like the content of the new owner, they can unfollow or block them.

AI image recognition is good enough that it would be easy for social networks to identify stolen memes, whether by content farms or just unethical but otherwise normal users. If a social network cared about being ethical, it could simply note the original source.

I want to see more summer days, more delicious melons that grew by capturing the sunlight of summer days

But the best friendships continue to grow. And growth isn’t just shared memories and experiences, but shared infrastructure and support systems.

Doesn’t mean therapy isn’t important. We pay therapists not just for their knowledge, but for their willingness to cover the gaps in our infrastructure that our friends can’t provide yet. Yet.

Friends are more important to mental health than therapy is, and they always have been— even when people would go to see a priest or a shaman about their mental health
