There are 8 Senators in northern New England (ME, NH, VT, MA). Hassan is retiring , Collins sucks, Warren is 18 months younger, the others are older.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw says culture of misinformation fueled his primary loss: "The truth didn't matter" The fourth-term congressman, who lost decisively to state Rep. So weird how the DSCC could discover he had a Nazi tattoo when its supposedly eluded Platner for decades, esp. since Platner broke it on PSA 10 days after Mills launch. And didn't say he would have it covered up until a week later. And his campaign manager said he knew months before.
"We are going to kill thousands[of civilians]. By the end of it, it may be millions. Our way of life is better, and if that is what it takes to prevail, let's get this show on the road. I don't disagree with your point, I just disagree with the fact you seem to think we shouldn't do it."
Trump is married to an immigrant, so must not be anti-immigrant, right?

If you voted for Trump, this is on you.
If you voted third party, this is on you.
If you chose not to vote at all, this is on you.
Your reasons are irrelevant.
"They think I'm some kind of hardcore progressive who's just going out there and doesn't want to talk to Trump voters... I will happily embrace working families, working class, and working people populism. That is fine with me. But 'progressive' I don't..."-Platner

Yeah but if you follow the link, it makes it clear this isn't something that actually can be done. The normal business is held under the "Committee of the Whole" and the only time a member can call a quorum call is during an actual vote or if the Speaker decides to let them.
Like this is explicit advocacy for literal genocide. Even if you want to dismiss a Nazi tattoo, how is this not disqualifying?
I don't like Newsom either, don't get me wrong. But Platner at 28 (2012) post-Marines but pre-Blackwater, posted "We are going to kill thousands[of ME civilians], by the end of it, it may be millions. Our way of life is better and if that's what it takes to prevail, let's get this show on the road."
What part of no power over agenda or procedure did you not understand? You're not fooling anyone by trying to get aggressive. You're factually wrong.
The point is that's simply not true. The minority party intentionally has no power over agenda or procedure in the House. The idea that there's One Simple Trick for a minority party to halt the majority is a comforting lie held exclusively when one's preferred party is in the minority.
People will say he brought nothing to the table, but that's an oversimplification. His contributions ran the gamut from facile to anodyne but he did provide a flattering contrast for more skilled and charismatic colleagues.
He is going to announce his resignation due to ongoing corruption and pedophilia investigations obv
The sample included more 18-34 than 65+ which would be laughable even if Maine wasn't the oldest state in the union. Really hard to take a methodology that comes up with that skewed a sample, even if you try to weight the subgroups.

Lowest quintile cumulative wage growth from 1985 to 2019 was ~400% or adjusted by inflation ~250%. Percent of spending has ticked up from ~40% to 45% over that time period.
Housing is more expensive than it should be, but comparing housing costs from 41 years ago doesn't make much sense.
