Ended the year with a 10k race with my son in a running stroller!
A bit crowded in the beginning, a lot of trying to avoid other people's feet. ๐
He even got his own medal!

The only way to get anything done with minimal time available is to do all your thinking when NOT at the computer.
Write everything down, every detail you think of, and when you're at the computer you just DO without thinking.
Conversely I've just stopped paying for Premium for the first time in years and don't see as many ads as I thought I would.
Thank you, David!
I kind of have to, and I suppose that's the best way, but really itching to get started! ๐
Taking this downtime from work as an opportunity to learn how to build fitness apps on Android watches.
Seems like a growing platform and would love to port Watchletic there eventually.
It's just that I'm so, so ready to go full time and focus on my own things. It's been my dream for so long. And finally ready to take action.
Would have done it sooner if not for the great colleagues. And I don't regret a thing.
But first, time for Christmas and some parental leave!
Yesterday marked my last day as an employee.
It's strange. Many of you on here want to quit your job and go fulltime indie because you don't like your job.
But I've truly enjoyed my 7.5 years at this employer. Awesome people, such a talented team.
Haha, same!
Phew!
Woke up at 03:30 today to a baby that felt he was done with this sleep thing.
AMA.
Don't say that NOW, Anton. That .com was freaking expensive!
Having had the domain hesselbom(dot)net for ages I finally got my hands on hesselbom(dot)com
Now what to do with it? Change my email from .net to .com?
It's from this great book: www.amazon.com/Endure-Curio...
Recommended to learn what the human body is capable of. Have quoted it to death to friends and family already.
Hah maybe!
Reading research how smiling can make you race faster.
Considering adding dad jokes to Watchletic.
Dad bod.
Since becoming a father I've never been fitter. I'm more or less forced to go out with a stroller everyday for the baby's naps so might as well do it with a running stroller.
What a way to have zero excuses!
This is what we like to see!
In January I'm going on parental leave before going fulltime indie. But I don't want to lose speed, so here's my plan:
1st nap: morning run
2nd nap: ~1hr coding
I'm currently doing around 30mins-1hr of indie dev at the moment so might even get more done!
My little SEO experiment website I created some time ago is slowly but surely getting some traffic.
Zero marketing, purely generating pages from a JSON.
Much deserved! ๐
Taking some time off, Seb?
Great point, Nick, could very well be it.
Personally I tend to scroll past the ads results but I suppose many won't and will visit if it sounds relevant to their problem.
Ah, working on your SEO game, Seb?
I'm in 3!
I'm more of an acquired taste than a starter, maybe more supper.
So cool that it's even possible to build this, love the apparent openness of BlueSky!
So AI can design TOO now? Yikes.
Everyone with zero customers believe everyone else has as much time and as little responsibilities as them ๐ฌ
Good luck building something on top of that base later if you didn't build it yourself ๐
No one is as clever as me, surely?
So many tiny noodle bowls instead!
