Spiciest take: Being a community manager hyped about a soft launch game is a delicate balance.
You want to shout about it but can't go too hard. How do you build momentum without alienating people who can't play yet AND support the players who are already engaged with the game?🤷
Hotter take: We keep underestimating how dedicated players are.
We've added "impossible" event levels twice because players destroyed what we thought was hard. Now we feed that back to the team constantly.
Players show us where we're wrong. We adjust. We Repeat.
And hopefully make a better game!
Happy holidays from the Fortis team.
We've logged off for a bit. You should too!
See you in 2026 with more games and stories to tell.
🌶️ Hot take from Twilight Towers: Players love promo codes. They guarantee engagement but not always sustained engagement.
One person uses FREEGOLD500 and vanishes. Another person stays for months. Can't tell which until later.
So we keep making codes. The ones who stay make it worth it.

honestly, i don't actually think there is a better group of folks to get actually honest feedback from!
We often find ourselves pondering ; when did mobile games stop trusting players to think?
We're bringing that back! Test unreleased games. Tell us when something's too hand-holdy or when we've nailed it ( honestly!)

Mobile action games look incredible in screenshots adverts. Then you try to play them.
We're working on that gap. Join our community to test early builds and tell us when something feels great vs looks great.

Gasp, just realised this might be the first time some of you folks have SEEN Twilight Towers.
So yeah..
Our Twilight Towers closed beta players went HARD in Season 1. Here's the damage:
More seasons are coming and they’re bringing chaos along with more countries added to our closed beta….soon
Please keep posting updates, love to see what comes out of the minds of Redditors!
I see only truth here
Is that how you spell cosier? Why is this melting my brain.
In case this got lost in the Thanksgiving/Holiday/Shopping bonanza.
We need you to help us make cozy games... well cosier!

Cozy games lately seem to have no chill.
Everything's optimized for engagement metrics instead of actual enjoyment fun!
We're building games that respect your time and attention, and we need your help to do that!

Grateful for everyone who plays, builds, and helps shape our games. Happy Thanksgiving from the Fortis team 🦃
Some studios say "teamwork makes the dream work." We just say honest and kind feedback makes each other better. Less catchy, more useful.

It’s been hard to be silent while we’ve been building our first game but now we finally have some content to share!
Introducing Twilight Towers, a shiny new website, and some words from our COO about what’s to come: play.fortis.games/tltandbeyond
Pretty soon we will be able to hit this big giant button, wonder what it does?
Almost there, we're loading up something exciting to share (also why does the last 10% always take the longest?)
We're not really into taking the "easy" path. We'd rather boldly go, keep asking questions, and tackle unique challenges head-on... because that's how we grow and create work we're proud of.
For no particular reason at all, we thought now would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves.
We're cooking something up that we can't wait to show you!
