Haha, genuinely and truly same. And I'm usually the optimist who can find joy in many things. At least there's still plenty of joy to be found in my close friends and home life. Its been helping to focus on what good I can get in the moment.

Main is hard to get for sure. A few friends just take a room in the virgin across the street, much nicer rooms + still very close (can be $$). Some book the MGM which is still close plus gets them access to mgm's pools, and can be booked with points. Staging suits at main is easy thanks to big rooms
Easily our favorite con but it doesn't feel fair to direct compare because it's so different from other cons. Biggest downside is the rooms in main are pretty divey quality - better than a motel but your average Marriott is better. Also not a lot of rooms in main (at least overflows are all close).
LVFC is awesome, very unique vibes for a con. The resort-like layout & every room being a suite turns it into one giant block party. Then you have rooftop dance that looks over the strip (sadly not on this year for repairs). Daytime is one giant pool party. Plus the strip is just a 5min taxi away.

How long ago did you get it? Got mine almost 3 months ago and only just this past week have I gone from needing eye drops every 2 hours to every 3-4 hours. I've found the ivizia drops (especially the gel drops) by far work the longest.. the refresh ones would have me doing it hourly.
I was team "just boil rice it's not hard" but if you make rice more than once in a blue moon the set and forget convenience is very worth it. Especially b/c you can just quicky pop rice on anytime and have it run on keep warm so it completely removes even thinking about it from the cooking equation.
Fuck if this isn't a mood. Had this thought the other day. Maybe different from your feelings but it feels like society and people as a whole have agreed to abandon their humanity to hook themselves into easy dopamine hooks and are eager to exploit others for a quick buck, all with little pushback.

Wood acoustic panels (Costco sells them I think) are renter friendly and can darken a room! There's also painting anyways and then making sure to paint it back when you move lol, though that can be annoying to do.
Probably same reason all Japanese TV has presenters reacting to things in bubbles for decades. Some ppl just can't think for themselves and need to see others react to things to form any opinions. It also more quickly engages you at a glance, eg watching while doing chores (Japan) or algo swiping.

Forgot to post about the super cool Sydney city model which is adjusted live as buildings go through the approval process (red = under construction, grey = design development, white = proposed). I hope whenever it's time to update the model they play the Sim City 3000 music 😌
Heading back to the states. Sydney Mardis Gras was an awesome time and so was Australia in general. Looking forward to the next time we get the chance to visit!
